  • The Third Rails is your band for rock-solid, high-energy live music!

    We play party anthems, rock and blues classics, all with a jam band spirit that keeps the vibes up for hours. Looking for vocal harmonies? We got'em. Epic guitar solos? Check! Maybe a bit of stand up comedy? Ehhh, we'll do our best.

    We're professional, reliable, and seriously flexible: whether you have gear, or not, need two, four or ten (ten is a lot) hours, need solo piano or a full party band with saxophones and background singers, we can easily custom-tailor our set to fit your event perfectly. We have a massive repertoire of covers that always packs the house. Book us for a fun, polished performance and zero booking stress!

  • Based on our core 4-person group without factoring in gear or travel fees:

    • 2-Hour Set: $1,200
      Includes approximately 20 songs with a 10-minute break in the middle.

    • 3-Hour Set: $1,800
      Includes approximately 30 songs with a 10-minute break between each hour of music.

    • 4-Hour Set: $2,200
      Includes approximately 40 songs with a 10-minute break between each hour of music.

    We offer you complete control over the size and feel of the music throughout the night. We are by default a versatile 4-piece core band (Dave and Andre singing/playing piano and guitar, plus bass and drums), but we can scale up or down to fit your needs. additional charges will apply for each additional member.

    We also offer:

    - Solo Sets - Solo guitar or piano perfect cocktail hours, intimate dinners, emotional moments (and cheaper!)
    - An addition female singer for more accurate performances of hits originally sung by female artists.
    - Up to 2 saxophone players (alto and tenor) to really get the party rockin

    We can even start the evening with a solo set for a classy, background vibe and then bring in the full band (or some of the band) for the main event—we match our performance to your night’s desired flow and budget.

  • We believe your setlist should be as personal as your event. That's why every package includes the ability to choose up to 5 custom songs that aren't on our list, which we will learn just for you. For those who want more, we offer the following options:

    • Choose up to 10 custom songs for an additional fee of $400.

    • Choose up to 20 custom songs for a further additional fee of $800.

    • For the ultimate personalization, we can create a fully custom set for a special rate.

Flexibility

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and ability to tailor our performance to your needs. We are open to adjusting our set structures within reason, can handle announcements for you, and can even offer a karaoke session to get your guests involved. We understand that every event has a different budget, so we are always open to working out a deal with our pricing—just send us a message!

If picking songs feels too overwhelming, don't worry! We are experts at reading a room. Simply provide us with a few key songs or a general "vibe" you're looking for, and we'll craft the perfect setlist to keep the celebration going all night long.
